Up for sale is a solid rover in the ultimate land rover color ardennes green with saddle leather interior. This clean rover spent all of its life in california, so no rust! I have other rovers i'm working on, so i am offering this one up for sale . Simply because it is in the one in best condition of the three that i own. There were a few paint chips and blemishes mostly on the passenger side but i purchased the correct factory touch up paint and did my best touching up the troubled areas. Don't get me wrong it is still very presentable. The dash has held up well including the wood trim. Both power seats work and all power windows work perfect. The power sunroof tilts but doesn't slide. The air and heat both blow warm. The engine runs very strong and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The tires are relatively new. We installed a brand new radiator, the old one was leaking. New antifreeze, we installed a new driver door lock actuator. We installed new headlights, new fog lights, new license plate bulb. I would not hesitate to drive it across country, just bring gas money. This vehicle is being sold as is, no written or verbal warranties expressed or implied. We reserve the right to end auction early due to a local sale. Folks this is a great vehicle that is continually rising in value. Please have reasonable expectations about a 24 year old rover. Mostly because at 181 inches long overall, the montero sport rides a 107. 3-inch wheelbase and measures 70 inches wide, and its 68. 3-inch height gives it a lower profile and that helps it ride very car like. At the rear is a clam-shell-type tailgate with a flip-up window on the top and a drop-down tailgate below make for easy usage. With a five-occupant capacity, the montero sport has front bucket seats and a three-person rear seat that reclines and folds forward, yielding a maximum cargo space of 79 cubic feet. Running quietly with minimal road and wind noise, the montero sport responds eagerly to a light push on the gas pedal. The automatic transmission also reacts well, without any awkwardness.
